WAY FORWARD

After successfully implementation of Rabi crops, focus has been given in promotion of horticultural interventions through specific models. Annapurna model and WADI model is the two selected model which has been planned for the coming year. It has been envisaged that after providing training to farmers as well as AKM’s on both the models, it will be implemented in all the selected 6 blocks of MKSP.

Also planning has been done for introduction of Custom Hiring centre (CHC) and initiation of Farmer Field School (FFS) in village level. Through CHC the farmers will able to avail facilities of small farm tools / equipment’s at village level in minimum hiring charges whereas the farmers can get specific information as well as training on various cropping system through FFS. FFS will be based at village level and farmers will be able to get first hand training as well as demonstration regarding improved agriculture.
